CAF assists new immigrants through the Job Search Workshop. This three-day Workshop offers short-term pre-employment training, and is designed specifically for recent immigrants. JSW teaches skills in resume, cover letter and thank you letter writing. JSW also teaches key techniques for successful interviews, job search strategies and job maintenance skills. The JSW Coordinator provides ongoing follow up and job coaching with program participants.

The JSW program is available free of charge, and is sponsored by COSTI and OCASI and funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
If you are a new Canadian and need assistance in finding a job, please call to register for the three day workshop. The Job Search Workshop is designed to assist new Canadians develop the skills needed to secure employment in the shortest time possible.
JSW classes are structured to meet the needs of new Canadians and are taught by a certified and experienced facilitator. You will not only learn how to better your chances of getting a job in Canada, but you will also enjoy learning how! In addition to the classes, clients will also receive on-going follow up to reach their career goals.
